National Train Day 2012

San Antonio is one of five Texas locations this year that are celebrating this year's National Train Day events with AMTRAK. Are you going to join in the celebration? If so, this is what we and the rest of the San Antonio NTD Planning Committee have in store for you!

On display this year:

  • Two AMTRAK passenger cars for you tour
  • Track Inspection Motor Car
  • SP 794 locomotive cab tours
  • Antique automobiles
  • G-Scale model railroad
  • HO-Scale model railroad
  • N-Scale model railroad
  • and more to be listed as they are confirmed.

Entertainment: Music by the San Antonio Marching Band
